Remember one of my projects this year is to complete the BDJ checklist? (Or at least half of it? Hehe.) Yup! And now to start prepping up for the big reveal (who I am going to serenade is still a secret and still to be seriously thought of), I list few songs that I might sing AND play when it finally happens. So exciting yet sooo scary! I have never serenaded someone before because I don’t sing, I was never a singer and I’m afraid to sing for someone!

Why, 2012, you are so fortunate! This. Is. Effort. You guys! Read More

Fifth day of the year and I hope it is not so late yet to share this. I heard this one from a Christian radio station which is hosted by one of my favorite people in the broadcasting industry. And now with the acrostic (which came from them but the explanations are all based on my perspective)! *Hope that clears up everything that I’m not crediting just myself on these. Hehe.*

Renew your relationship with God. Nothing beats starting a new year with a renewed vow to the Lord to keep committing to honor Him. It’s not about just mentioning Him in your blogs, thinking of Him, etc. You need to do something on how to renew that relationship. Relationships always come with action/application/execution. It isn’t meant for showing off to the world that: Hey, I know and believe in God. Then one says: Oh, really, it DOES NOT show. Now, how does that sound like? Do something to make that relationship even better than it was before.

Invest on health and wellness. Do yourselves some favor and doze off early. I’m telling you how wonderful it is to sleep and wake up early feeling all light and happy. 7 to 8 hours of sleep may be enough. And perhaps try to be a little greener this year? These things to back up the first one written above because you can’t start something with a weak body. Read More

I plot out some of my goals (in different areas of life) that I want to share with you to help me guided all throughout the year. I list only one for each as one of my goals in my online life is to avoid over-sharing. Here we go!

[Love for Enemies] “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. — Matthew 5:43-45 (NIV)

My day is usually filled with lesson plan, chalk dust, class record, and meaningful brainstorming sessions with bright students. Random chat conversations with the best guy I will never have and Bru make most of my nights. I am April, welcome to my world.
