I noticed most people’s status update on Facebook were about change. They are hopeful that 2012 wil bring change/s in their lives. Let’s take in to context the neverending I-will-go-on-in-a-diet-but-never-really-happened resolution. It’s not like: Oh, it’s 2012 already. Look, I’m starting to lose weight! Really, 2012 is making you thin? It doesn’t work that way. Change never starts with a new year; it starts with you. Come to think of this: you had the chance the last year to change but why did you have to wait for 2012 to do so? Well, of course, it’s more dramatic to start anew in a new year, right? But really, there are so many new in this world–new day, new week, new month–you need not to wait for another year to start the change you want for yourself/others. It doesn’t take a new year to change but a heart and mind open to infinite possibilities of making things better (or best) or of making yourself better and putting it in to action. Resolutions are cliche but they still do work. And they now come in various terms: road map, vision board, etc. I know, I know, who would use resolutions when in fact those things don’t work in you. So you coined another term to replace the cliche word with and start thinking… How am I going to live my 2012? Read More
January-March
During those three months I have learned to let go of the things which don’t matter anymore. Not that it’s easy (easy to say yes) but some point in our lives, we have to do that to have available space for what’s coming/going to come. I have learned to appreciate football more and that the Philippine Azkals Team Captain once read my blog. (OH. MY. GOSH!) I have learned that when something is going to happen, it will really be; and that found out how therapeutic fireworks are to me, to us.. I have learned that time passed by way too fast! The other day we just had our graduation pictorial and the next day we had completed our graduation requirements already. Aaah, good times! And my first time to celebrate a foundation day. LOL.
April-June
Better months! I have learned that there are really some things which you think you do not deserve to have but then there’s Somebody who knows better than you do and proves you that you’re worth it. I have learned that everything is possible through prayer and you need not to rush things because some things (like love) are not meant to be hurried up. I have learned that if God wants you to where you should be, you will be there. I have learned that there is always a first time for everything. I have learned that surprises come in different ways from different people. (I had the best pre-birthday celebration ever. With T! Guys, OMG. Haha!)
July-September
I have learned that everything is different when you experience it live. I have learned that Bru is really lucky in draw lots/joining games. I have learned that T loves to read and give books.
October-December
The last quarter of the year and I don’t know how to describe it–a mix of bad and good memories??? I have learned that opportunity knocks but once so better grab it while it’s still there. I have learned that you will pay for what you’ve done (to yourself, to others) so now you know what to do. I have learned to accept things which I realized are good for me. I have learned to be a blessing because God has blessed me as well.
Things I Am Grateful For This 2011

SFF bonding! Impromptu day-out planning after a 4-hour conversation over the phone last night. We really believe that long phone conversations aren’t enough for friends who have a lot of things to catch up on. Rem called us up at midnight and we finally called it a night at 4AM. Read More
